2026 Holiday Gift Guide
Nov. 5th, 2026
You don’t have to know a lot about video games to pick a gift they’ll love. Our team at DKOldies picked five holiday favorites and explained what makes each one a good choice, so you can spend less time guessing and feel good about what’s under the tree.
If you have to pick one
Wii Sports Bundle Pak
The Wii Sports Bundle is our hottest holiday item because kids, parents, and grandparents can all jump in and enjoy it. Wii Sports has your favorites like bowling and tennis, and the second controller lets someone else join in. You also get Wii Sports Resort so there’s more to try once the presents are opened.
Two adventures they'll never forget
N64 Mario Zelda Pak
The N64 Mario Zelda Pak is a great holiday choice for someone who grew up loving Nintendo. It comes with the system’s best Mario and Zelda games and since both games are fan-favorites, this is an easy pick even if you’re not sure which games they’d like. It’s a chance to surprise them with something they loved as a kid and might never think to buy for themselves.

NES Mario 123 Pak
The Original NES Mario 123 Pak is a thoughtful gift for someone who grew up playing Nintendo in the ’80s or ’90s. It includes one controller and Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3, so you don’t have to figure out which games to buy. They can revisit an old favorite or try to beat the one that always gave them trouble.

Gameboy Advance SP
The Game Boy Advance SP is the holiday pick for someone who would rather play their games out and about, rather than sitting in front of the TV. It folds up to fit in a pocket, and the rechargeable battery means there’s no need to keep buying batteries. This Platinum Silver model includes a charger, making it easy to recharge between adventures.
