If you liked Super Mario 64, you're going to love Banjo-Kazooie! The game is an action platformer for the N64, made by the acclaimed developer Rare. You play as Banjo the bear and his friend Kazooie as you try to stop the evil witch Gruntilda's plan before time runs out.

The game builds on Super Mario 64's groundbreaking gameplay and makes some innovative changes and additions. Throughout the game's nine gigantic levels you'll be searching for jigsaw puzzle pieces to unlock each stage. Each of the levels is meticulously designed and feature a stunning array of environments including swamps, mountain ranges, forests and more. One of the coolest things is the variety of moves the character can use including punching and swimming. 

The graphics in the game are amazing for their time, replacing Super Mario 64's flat, shaded polygons with beautiful textures.  The character's voices are incredibly well done and you'll certainly find yourself humming the soundtrack long after you put down the controller. The game has a good bit of humor and doesn't take itself too seriously. At points you'll turn into a pumpkin, save dolphins, get flushed down a toilet and that's just the beginning. It also has one of the most hilarious, tongue in cheek scripts you'll find in an N64 title. There are dozens of characters that are all a joy to talk to.

Banjo-Kazooie's quirky charm is sure to provide you hours of entertainment. This is definitely one N64 game that everyone should have in their library!
