Did you know you can play Game Boy games on your TV using a GameCube controller?
All you need is the Nintendo produced 'Game Boy Player' adapter for your GameCube.
The inside of the Game Boy Player actually contains hardware just like your Game Boy Advance!
Here's how to do it:
Just flip over your GameCube, and remove the little door on the back left corner of the console. Line up the now exposed port with the Game Boy Player's input and your console should sit comfortably on top!
Then pop the Game Boy Player disc into your console, and the Game Boy game of your choice into the Game Boy Player. And Viola! You can now play most Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance titles you want using a GameCube controller on your TV.
Fun Fact: While this device was released in 2003, Nintendo released a similar device only to their developers in 1999, called Wide Boy 64. Just like the Player, the Wide Boy allowed you to play Game Boy games on your N64!
